It is a good primer for damaged nails. Sometimes you need two coats.

I like to apply two coats of this base and add one coat of pink shimmer #14. It is a touch dressier than the base coat alone. With fast-dry topcoat it can last 4 days. Then with another topcoat, it can last 3 more days. After your cuticles are pushed back, you can do apply all 4 original coats in less than 15 minutes, including drying time.
